I have been looking at your Confessional Lutheran website for a long time. I don't agree with all that is going on in the LCMS..especially the influence of the Jesus First movement.

I grew up in the ELCA and before I completed my college education I joined the LCMS. After having done so, I have never looked back. Although I am in my mid 20's, I have found great comfort in the serious handling of God's Word that the LCMS takes. As confessional Lutherans, we must always stand up for God's Word. Knowing where I have come from, I realize that biblical/doctrinal compromise is rampant in this day and age-which we must be on guard against. Thank you for the authentic, Confessional Lutheran voice here on the web.

Like most of us who grew up in the secure world of the LCMS we took our beliefs to be steadfast and rocksolid. A foundation that we did not have to worry about or watch over. Well, I and alot of others weree blindsided in the liberializing of our Seminaries. Then in turn each congregation had to decide for themselves what to do.
